The Terrace Chair prototype was manufactured using stock-size tubular steel for the framework and a solid ash seat.
The steel frame is powder-coated for durability and a high-quality finish, while the ash seat is treated with Rubio Monocoat Red Velvet wood oil to enhance and protect the natural timber.
The feet and stacking buffers are made from standard plastic components, and the chair is assembled using aluminium bolts, allowing for durability, ease of maintenance, and straightforward replacement of individual parts if required.
